The manifesto project started in class, this I would say was the easiest part of the process since our individual manifestos were very similar. After class, we created a group chat and planned to meet soon to discuss the group video project. We met the next day for lunch and came up with the idea of getting students to write apart of there identity on them and then photograph them afterward. We went about the rest of the week individual recording and photographing. Once we gathered enough media we sent it to Danny to edit it all together. My favorite part of the process was interacting with students and getting them to talk about their identity. I feel a lot of the time we feel that identity is only surface level but a lot of the time its skin deep.
